Using video as one of the advertisement techniques to attract new customers is becoming more and more popular. Small businesses started creating videos because it is one of the best ways to engage with the audience and it also can be quite inexpensive. Online advertising company WebVisible conducted a study with 12,000 small businesses taking part in it. One of the aims of the study was to find out how many small businesses use video fort their advertisement in 2009.
Results can be found in the graph to the left. In 2008 in the last quarter only 5.2 % of small business owners used video as an advertisement technique according to WebVisible. However, after one year we can see a serious increase in that number – from 5.2% to 19.2%. Obviously, the number is growing and growing every year. So it is pretty clear that small businesses are increasingly using videos and they also should use videos if they haven’t done yet.
